The core group of the BICAM Executive Committee met in Nairobi, Kenya, on 19-20 February 2022.

Representatives of the SECAM Presidency and the SECAM General Secretariat, the Director of BICAM, the General Secretary of the Catholic Biblical Federation and the representative of the SECAM regions met to review the development of the biblical activities in the SECAM/BICAM regions and to draw up the road map for the coming year. 

One of the key points was the evaluation and continuation of the BICAM restructuring process. It was decided to continue this process through meetings organised in each of the SECAM regions. One of the fruits of this meeting was also the creation of this communication platform – “CBF Africa and Madagascar – News from our Region”.
